Originally from Southern California, Dick Larson's musical roots took shape in Sacramento. After graduating from CSUS in 2008 Dick set out to begin self recording fragments of songs he'd been working on for years. The main objective was to complete nothing short of a full length concept album written, recorded, mixed and performed entirely by himself. The "Friends and Lovers, Sands and Shadows" record, a collection of songs about the pleasures and anguish of solitude, would set a trend for future recordings by Dick. To follow came the EP "Overripe Ruins" and his latest single, "The Changing Rules of Love". Aside from being a singer/songwriter and recording artist Dick plays an extensive variety of cover songs that span the decades of popular music.
